Need a holiday with purpose, book a pottery workshop.
Australians typically receive approx. four weeks of paid holiday leave per year. With the cost of living crisis, I usually plan to take one or two weeks away and spend the rest of the time at home. When returning to work, I often feel I could have used that time more effectively. This year, I'm trying a different approach by planning holidays with a purpose. My goals include to learn new skills and techniques, explore new places, and to foster a state of flow . Pottery workshops Researching pottery retreats and holidays, I discovered several overseas options, but they were beyond my budget. As a result, I decided to look for workshops closer to home and came across two back-to-back sessions (with a day off in between) at Warrandyte Pottery, which is a 45-minute drive from Melbourne.
